Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a TV arbitrator for Caso Cerrado. She also hosts Ana Polo Rules. The actress was raised in Havana Cuba Ana moved to Miami at the age of 2 years old, accompanied by family members. Ana Maria Polo was born in Habana in Cuba. Presently, she is hosting the Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado" which is an Spanish TV show which has been nominated for the Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award. In 2015 she also ranked the top Spanish-language show at 4pm for key demonstrations. Polo was born in Havana in 1959. When she graduated from Florida International University's political science program, she relocated to Havana and lived there for the next 20 years. In the following years she received her PhD degree in law at the University of Miami. Following her PhD in law from University of Miami in law and working in the law profession at the bar in Miami city for over 20 years. Polo appeared for the first time on TV in 2001 as part of Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. Her expertise in law was also utilized in other court shows. Literature Works and Accolades 1958 novel Los Hijos Muertos won her both the Critic Prize and Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute moved to the United States from Spain in 1960. Polo, who is also an inpatient with breast cancer and a cancer survivor, is often quoted about the cause she is fighting. Polo has been a vocal activist for LGBT rights throughout her career. She earned her law degree in 1987 from University of Miami School of Law.
